What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

 This morning, Patrick slept in, and I got a few things done. He is going golfing tomorrow. It was funny though. Everyone around us, including mom, had snow. We didn't get any at all. A few friends took photos, but we were dry. If we did get some last night it didn't stay around. Mom said they got about 4" and she's about 10 - 15 mins away. 

I had to get back on the computer to work on QOV stuff. I added the photos from last month and this month on the Facebook page. Now that's ...

 This morning was embroidery day. I do enjoy going to embroidery to be around good friends. Cindy and Sandy were already there. It was odd today though. Cindy didn't talk much so we were wondering what was going on with her. Sandy and I worked on our class embroidery pieces. Cindy left and Sandy and I chatted for another hour. 

Sandy started out with the thicker thread. I believe that was Lola. I started with Lola yesterday and when I took everything out, I started with the Iris that was supposed to be for that. I like the Lola ...

 UGH, I should have said after the title. Neither team was my favorite, but if I had to vote, I would go for the SF team. I liked the new quarterback. 

I had our class today. 

It was fun. We all worked on the leaves. There are mirrors in the leaves and the berries. We were shown how to attach the mirrors and then work the leaf around it. Then we worked on the leaves. 

 This morning, I woke after Patrick left for golfing. I woke to a dream where my younger brother had passed away. No one can go back to sleep with a dream like that. 

I ended up having to give TLC to Sophie as she meowed till I sat down. I played a few games and the Patrick got home. He was watching his "Love Boat" shows. So, I came in the computer room and worked on a few things.

Today started out with watching an old John Wayne movie. I remembered it. It was one that we saw in Germany. Mom was a big John Wayne fan. 

Then I went for my walk, making it 7 times around the block. That I haven't done in over 2 months. Felt good, but the wind was blowing again. Yesterday the wind was blowing a little more than today. I had my hoodie on with Patrick's hat underneath. My ear buds quit on the first round, and I had to turn the phone on with the book playing. It was ...

 This morning I was up and feeling a lot better. I did help out a little with house work. Patrick was on it all day. He even worked on laundry. 

This afternoon was our Brazilian embroidery sew group via zoom. It's a fun group and we get along great. It's fun to see what everyone is working on. 

 This morning Gerilyn came over so I could take her to embroidery. They were leaving for Seattle today and it would be easier on her husband if she came with me. We were early - it was 9:30 am when we arrived. Funny thing was that both Cindy and Sandy were there that early as well. 

We waited on Sandy V. She was scheduled to work on her class she's teaching. She's making changes to her Seminar class to go virtual. It's the mandala patterns that she is doing with embroidery. So, we talked about what she ...

This morning, I was out the door heading to the bank. But guess what, it's a holiday! So, I will have to stop tomorrow.  

I met up with Sandy and Gerilyn. We had a good meeting. Gerilyn brought us bread with soup. So, we had an awesome lunch! I had to have more. The soup was veggies, noodles and meat. All was very tasty. I think she even surprised herself!

This morning I decided to go to my Brazilian Embroidery meeting. 

Before I even got out the door - 

Our meeting was just Sandy and me. We had such a good time! I didn't take anything to work on, but we chatted the whole time. I did work on getting my word chart done for the Christmas ornaments for this year. I need to get those done so I can start working on them. I will do more later.

 Today Patrick was out the door for golfing and I slept for another hour before getting up. Then I played some games I haven't had the chance to over the last 4 days. 

Today was a day to get caught up. So, I got laundry started. Finished listening to a book. Then I worked on trying to think of what I wanted to work on. That didn't get me very far at all. 

Patrick got home from golfing and we worked on our Christmas cards. We ordered 20 of them, since we haven't been getting very many ...

 I got started on putting my stuff together in the crockpot for my artichoke dip. It didn't cook the full time here, so when I got to the grange, I plugged it in. First, I had to stop at the Church to drop off 2 quilts, then I went to Safeway for bread. Once that was done, I headed over to Connie's where she gave me 2 more quilts that need bindings on. It was a trade off since I gave her 2 quilts with backing and batting. I brought home one of her tops to see what ...

 Today started out at the grange with Sandy and her sister Jeannette. We had a good meeting and I worked on the yellow butterfly for the Orchid embroidery piece I'm working on. I will try and post a photo of that later. 

I left early to get home. Patrick and I went to Kaiser to see about me getting my Covid shot and him getting his port flushed. He had to make an appointment, but I got in right away. I was told when I went to the surgeon. that I needed to get the Covid shot. Now that ...

 This morning Patrick had to wait till 10 am to go golfing. The weather was too cold for them to go out. He came back home for a bit. I got ready and out the door before he went the second time. 

I headed to the grange. It was just Sandy and I. We had a great time chatting! We talked for a good hour before we started to work on our projects. I took my beading because I wanted to get this done. I'm still stalling, and I don't know why!! I really do need to finish ...

This morning Patrick stayed home from golfing. He wanted to take a break. But then he told me he is golfing tomorrow - so not sure where "Break" comes in. 

He worked outside most of the day. Dropped leaves off at Phils. While he was doing that, I worked on my exercises and walking. After that, it was time to get on the computer to join my class. Since I was TA, I really didn't get to work on anything. I still have my piece in the drawer. I need to mark my work. One of the things I did ...

This morning I slept in till 10 am. I needed it after the last 3 days of being up around 7 am. I love my sleep. lol - I would sleep better if I just didn't stay up till 11:30 pm! But, hay, I like to listen to my books and play games. 

After exercise and walking, Patrick was done with golfing. It was cold today! I don't know how he can stand golfing when it's that cold! I walked and got my relaxing in. I listen to the music on iPods.

 This morning I was working on what I needed to do. I had 2 Zoom meetings today. When I chatted with Debbie she said she could do the 6:30 pm meeting so, I decided to join her. 

After getting laundry started and working on getting blood out of my nightgown, I was able to get some laundry done. It took a good 3 washes to get the blood out. At least it's out because that's my favorite nightshirt.

 This morning Patrick went golfing, and I went to the grange to have embroidery. I arrived early and Gerilyn was already there. We got the place warmed up when Cindy arrived. Sandy said she would be running late so Cindy decided to get the drinks. As it turned out Sandy was only 10 minutes late. So, they both had drinks for us. I was thrilled to get 2 drinks, one hot and one cold. 

I decided to take my beading today. Wasn't in the mood for embroidery. I worked on my panel and finished it just as it was ...

 Today started out with Patrick golfing and telling me it was 8 am. I got up and was out the door by 9 am. I had to stop at Connie's to get her the bags of scraps from that mess we had. I stopped and chatted with her. She then gave me 5 quilts that were done. She even did the binding on them. So, I now have 6 quilts that need labels. I will do that this week. First, I need to do more labels. Then I can get them on the 6 quilts. I will need to ...

 This morning I slept till 8:35 am and woke up saying, "Oh, Shit!" because I needed to leave by 9:15 am. Patrick got up but went back to bed because it was raining. I didn't know he decided not to go golfing, so I went back to sleep. I ended up doing a quick job of exercises and then out the door. 

I stopped at McD's to get coffee and ice tea. Once that was done, I headed to the grange. Gerilyn brought her wool quilt she is working on and said she wanted to do ...

 This morning I headed over to Connie's to drop off some of the scraps that we got. I showed her I had more to go through. She gave me a few blocks that she had done and I'm going to work them into a quilt. They are log cabins. She's doing better but can't stand on her feet too long. So, trying to quilt right now isn't going to be easy. She's going to do a little at a time.
